Goo Ball Madness is an indie game. The main objective is to move a ball and collect “goo”, which is used to open some doors. The game’s physics engine is accurate: the ball gradually accelerates and decelerates, it goes down on slopes, friction makes it slightly climb on the walls if it has enough speed and so on.

Each next level gradually increases in difficulty and complexity. The first ones include some tutorials that are easy to understand.
To solve the puzzles and get past the obstacles you find on the way, you need both dexterity and intelligence (maybe some patience too).

The graphics are not so attractive but they don’t really bother the eyes, especially if you’re paying more attention to the ball. However, the background music is uninspired and it does bother. It sounds very unprofessional and random. The atmosphere of the game suffers because of it.
Overall, this is a decent and challenging game that can be fun. There’s room for a lot of improvement and it seems that the developer is working on it. With better graphics, music and sound effects, this game could deserve five out of five stars because the core idea is very good.
